Wednesday is Prince Spaghetti Day: A Tradition That Lives On

Prince Spaghetti has been a household name in New England for over a century. The company was founded in 1912 by three Italian immigrants in Boston’s North End, and quickly became known for its high-quality pasta. In 1969, Prince Spaghetti launched a now-iconic advertising campaign featuring a young boy named Anthony running home for dinner after his mother calls out the window, “Anthony! Anthony!” The ad ends with the tagline, “Wednesday is Prince Spaghetti Day,” which has become a beloved tradition in New England.

Today, Prince Spaghetti is still going strong, and the company continues to produce delicious pasta that families across the region enjoy. Whether you’re making spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, or another classic Italian dish, Prince Spaghetti is the perfect choice for a satisfying and delicious meal.
