Paul McCartney announced that he is coming back to Boston this summer as part of his “Got Back” tour. The former Beatle announced his 2022 World Tour this morning, and it includes a concert at Fenway Park on June 7.
Tickets for the “Got Back” tour go on sale to the general public Friday, February 25. A pre-sale for American Express card holders begins at 10 a.m. on February 22.
This will be the 79 year old McCartney’s fourth time playing at Fenway Park. He came to Boston back in 2016, 2013 and 2009.
“I said at the end of the last tour that I’d see you next time,” McCartney said in a press release. “I said I was going to get back to you. Well, I got back!”
