There has been a lot of speculation that Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens would be leaving for the Indiana Hoosiers head coaching job this week, but Brad Stevens shut them down saying he won’t be going anywhere because he is a true Masshole.
” I said it the other day: I’m not considering the Indiana job.” Stevens said. ” I tried to say it clearly as I could and make sure people understand that that place , to me, is special”
” I’m not a kid anymore. I’m a 44-year old Masshole,” Stevens said. ” I swerve around on the road, eat Dunkin Donuts and I root for the Patriots”.
There you have it, Brad Stevens may not be from here originally, but he has clearly earned his Masshole card. It looks like he will be with the Celtics for the long haul.
