A bicyclist in Concord, Massachusetts is drawing a lot of attention with his headless horseman costume.
Matthew Dunkle has been spotted playing his guitar while riding around Concord in the costume, but he said he doesn’t want to frighten people. He just wants to entertain them.
“I’ve always wanted to reach out and build community through my music and my talent and my enthusiasm,” Dunkle said.
He said he bought the headless horseman costume last year but never wore it. Then, in April, when everyone was inside, he decided to put it on and went for a ride.
“I thought it was a really good opportunity to bring it out because there were not a lot of cars on the road, and I had a lot of space to move around,” he said.
“I’ve had so many people tell me that I bring joy and happiness and smiles,” said Dunkle.
The entertainment factor is great and all, but he better take precaution riding around on the street or his costume could become a reality.
