A Suspect Is In Custody After Three Banks Were Robbed Within Minutes In The North End This Morning



It was a wild morning in the North End of Boston this morning. Three banks were robbed within minutes of each other. Apparently the suspect wanted it all, but it didn’t work out too well for him.

There is a suspect now in custody.

Citizens Bank, located at 315 Hanover Street was robbed at 9:10 a.m. and a Santander Bank at 287 Hanover Street was robbed 4 minutes later then The Century Bank at 275 Hanover St.

No weapons were shown and there are no injuries reported, according to the Boston police department. The suspect is a Hispanic male in his thirties. It remains unknown what he stole or how many others were involved. The incident is still an active investigation.
