Fear of driving on bridges and falling off is a common fear. Although it is a very rare occurrence, it does happen. What happened to a 19 year old Lynnfield, Massachusetts man on Friday night was nothing short of miraculous.
His car flipped off the Zakim Bridge in Boston Friday night, and somehow landed on a highway on-ramp some 25 feet below.
The car hit the guardrail on Interstate 93 southbound, flipped over and fell 25 feet, landing on the Leverett Connector Ramp, which connects Massachusetts Route 1 and the Tobin Bridge, according to police.
A camera captured the miraculous fall. The driver was reportedly standing outside his car when police arrived. He was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital. The driver clearly had a horseshoe up his ass. Hopefully he will have a full recovery.
