The Mayflower II is finally heading home to Plymouth after $11.2 million dollars in renovations in Mystic, Connecticut.
The replica of the original Mayflower ship that brought the Pilgrims to America 400 years ago made its way through cape Cape Cod canal this morning.
The Mayflower is also scheduled to travel from New Bedford to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Bourne this weekend.
The Mayflower II was a gift from England in 1957, and has been a major tourist attraction ever since.
