The Patriots have signed former Houston Texans running back Lamar Miller to a one-year deal, pending a physical, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus
Miller will serve as insurance for Sony Michel who is currently on the PUP list. Miller is recovering from an ACL tear last season.
Miller who’s also a solid receiver had 973 yards rushing and 6 touchdowns back in 2018. He will be an obvious threat to second-year running back Damien Harris is playing time.
